Prince of the Jungle is the second full-length feature film in the popular Prince of the Jungle franchise. Directed by Joachim Rooks for Disney Pixar, the film features Tom Hanks as Donny Deuce who lives on an island with his family. The story follows his everyday life as he goes about trying to earn a living and providing for his family. Along the way, he meets several new friends including the sarcastic lion, monkey, and other inhabitants of the island. This installment of the franchise includes many familiar locations from the first two films. For instance, the dive team that takes Donny to the beach is almost the exact same group from the beginning of the first film. The background music, special effects, and interface are all the same. In addition, the action is similar to the later films as well. Although the main storyline is the same, the number of machine games offered on each machine provided on each machine is different in Prince of the Jungle T2 slot machine. The second half of the film focuses on the consequences of Donny's actions with the stolen lion. As he releases it back into the wild, Donny realizes what he has done and immediately runs off to warn the others of what he has done. Once there, he warns them again, but they refuse to believe him, believing that the lion will return again. Donny believes that they all believe him, which leads to the final scene in the film where he kills the lion with his son, Jafar. Afterwards, Donny hides in his tree home with Jafar, where he plans his revenge on those who did not believe him. The second half of the film introduces another slot machine game in the form of a draw Poker machine located off to the right of the treasure hunt location. This time, instead of finding the lion and bringing it back to the human camp, Donny finds the prize money instead. He then plans his attack on the human camp once he gets close to the location. The plan works, and he ambushes the group as they play the game, killing most of them without being noticed. In the third act, Prince Charming arrives once again to save the human camp from Donny and Jafar. Once he does, the humans decide to play their game once again, but this time, Jafar tries to poison Prince Charming's father, King David. The antidote for the poison proves to be effective, so that Charming does not have to worry about his safety while he is playing the game. This ends the third act, and the plot takes place in the fourth and final act. The credits run down at the end of the movie, but Donny and Charming still find themselves on the island, where Charming offers them a spot on his team to go on safari with him. The second half of the film involves Charming having to rescue the humans who were captured by Jafar's pirate ship, which is being piloted by his son Jafar Jr. turns out to be more than a son he wants to deal with, as he later reveals to his father that he has captured the humans and taken them to his pirate ship to use against the prince. In the process, Charming gets himself left behind while Charming Jr. boards the pirate ship to find out what his father's plan is. He enters the room where Prince immunity is being held and sees Donny, who is holding a machine gun aimed at him. Charming runs to get help from Angelica, who recognizes him as her cousin, but Jafar gets away with the others. Donny eventually wins the machine game and Charming, along with everyone else on the island, escapes to the mainland. The second half of the film involves Charming tracking down the clues to the pirates' plan, and he also finds out where the unconscious prince lay drowned. Jafar and his forces are then forced to retreat back to their ship, but not before Charming sneakily keeps control over the Jafars' fortune slot machines. After winning a large jackpot, Charming resells the machine game to Angelica, and then flees to the mainland with the rest of his crew. This movie is full of exciting action sequences, and features two talented actors playing the lead roles. Both of them have great comedic roles in this movie that makes them entertaining to watch. It also features an original score from John Williams, who did the original music for the musical. Some of the other music includes 'My Sweet Lord' by Luther Vandross and 'Hound Dog' by Bob Marley. The special effects are well done and the sound effects are lively, making this movie a hit with kids and adults alike.
